The Mountain Modern-Trad Project
My clients wanted to take their new home nestled in the foothills of Denver from 90’s awkward (with so many angles) to traditional beauty with a punch of modern simplicity. We expanded the kitchen into wasted space in the adjoining laundry room to allow for a larger kitchen island. We moved the sink out of the corner and onto its own wall with plenty of room for a hidden trash and dishwasher as well as installing new expanded picture windows for stunning views of the mountains. We then centered the range on the other wall to create a strong focal point. My clients also wanted an open concept, so we knocked down the dining room walls and changed the orientation of the space while also adding a mudroom area to the neighboring laundry room. We then differentiated the entry area with board and batten wall trim that echoed in the supporting columns near the dining area. While still in progress, this home is becoming more and more gorgeous with each addition we make while reflecting all the beautiful nature and views surrounding it.

The French Farmhouse Project
My DIY clients wanted to inject their personalities and style into their 90's childhood home. The home is situated on a beautiful farm/ranch in Wyoming surrounded by cows, goats, and chickens and only about 100 feet from a gorgeous river. I love it when the client's style is authentic to who they are and where they live. They put in four years of steady work and achieved great results on a budget. What a beautiful thing.
The Laramie Project
My wonderful clients, both with disabilities that required wheelchairs, needed space in their cramped and cluttered family room. Due to poorly placed furniture they were not even able to turn their wheelchairs around, making it difficult for them to get around. With a beautiful collection of art that had been hiding around their home and some updated furniture, we were able to give them a space that truly reflected their style and enabled them to better care for and access their home.
